Heidi is in quite a unique position as a 'middle' child. She experiences what it's like to be both an older sister to Jack (which demands a lot of patience) and a younger sister to Harry which I think is sometimes frustrating.
Heidi takes her role of big and little sister very seriously and I think being a sister to two boys has definitely moulded her into the young lady she is today. Heidi is kind, nurturing, sweet natured and loving and I think she's is a fantastic sister to her brothers.
As a special treat to celebrate #nationalsistersday Heidi was kindly sent a brand new Baby Born Sister Doll. Just like a real little sister, the doll can drink water, cry real tears and be taken into the bath.
Baby Born Sister Doll has fully moveable arms and legs which means she is perfect to sit in the garden with for those all important sister-sister chats........
Her hair is also lovely and soft and is provided with scrunchies and brush. PHEW! I am so pleased I am not the only other person with long hair in the house now and Heidi can watch YouTube tutorials and style her sister's hair to her heart's content.
Baby Born's Sister Doll even stands on her own two feet which means she has been
Baby Born's Sister has really brought out a loving and caring side to Heidi and she really loves taking care of our new addition. I know I often blog about raising girls against their stereotypes but I still also believe in role playing and think that dolls are perfect for pretend play for both sexes. Jack loves playing with Heidi's sister just as much as Heidi does and he is actually in charge of reading her bed time story tonight. Ahhhhh!
Will you be doing anything special to celebrate #nationalsistersday ?
