Have you heard the news? Hadrian’s Tipi is set to open at Newcastle's Central Station on Thursday 10th November.
This over-sized tipi will offer a unique winter retreat with a difference. Offering continental foods, mulled wines and ciders amid an inviting setting of log fires and lights designed to recreate the days of Roman Emperor Hadrian’s travels around the region in AD122.
The festive pop up will have a great selection of draught and bottled beers including offerings from Wylam Brewery, hot Gluhwein (mulled wine) and Wassail (hot cider), along with bottles of wine and fizz by the glass. Refreshments will also include teas, coffees and their own Hadrians Hot Chocolate. Yum!!
There will also be a selection of hot food on offer including speciality sausages imported from Germany as well as a variety of locally sourced meat from Northumberland. These will be cooked on an authentic charcoal swing grill
For those with a sweet tooth, the Tipi has the cities only dedicated donut kitchen with a wide range of delicious toppings.
Let's take a peek inside...........
Oh my goodness I am SO excited! I am very lucky to have been invited to a press preview on Wednesday, so if you'd like a peek inside, follow North East Family Fun on Facebook and I'll try and Live Stream from inside at some point between 7-8pm.

Oh this looks great. I wish I could make the press event but it's a bit difficult for me. Dilemma!
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with Gluhwein! Already took a thermos of it to the fireworks on Saturday night! Any excuse to drink some more - I'll be there :-)
