20 Lodges with Hot Tubs within a 90 minute drive of York

Hot on the heels of my popular post '22+ lodges with hot tubs within a 2 hour drive of Newcastle', I've decided to share a similar post based around another of my favourite Northern cities. York is such a charming city with loads to do for both families, couples or groups of friends and one of the best places for a family day out in North Yorkshire.. It's one of my favourite places to book a weekend break. Let me know if you fancy any of the places mentioned. All lodges featured come with their own private hot tub. 

1 - Griffin Forest - book here

We've stayed at Griffin Forest a couple of times now and we love it here. The lodges are in a beautiful woodland setting where squirrels will come and visit you on your decking. It's nice and private and there's a lovely restaurant/bar on-site. There are a variety of lodges available and some are pet-friendly.York is just 9 miles away.

2 - Dacre Lakeside Park - book here

Dacre Lakeside Park is actually where we spent our honeymoon. The lodges are set around a lake and it's so peaceful. If you're active, this is a great location as you can kayak on the lake, hire bikes, play golf or go fishing. The small village of Brandsburton is close by and there's a clubhouse/pizzeria on-site too. There are a variety of lodges and shepherd's huts available and some are pet-friendly.

3 - Ambleside Lodge - book here

Ambleside Lodge is a 2 bed, 2 bath lodge near the village of Malton. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Furnished to a high standard, this lodge is perfect for exploring the market town of Malton and is 18 miles from York.

4 - The Brae - book here

This cute Shepherd's Hut sleeps 2 and looks like such a romantic place to spend the night. With an open-plan layout, woodburning stove and village pub just a 2 minute walk away, I can see why it's a popular choice. Pets are not allowed at this property and the location is 31 miles from York.

5 - Flowery Dell Lodges, Richmond - book here

Flowery Dell Lodges are often able to be booked for one night which is pretty rare. Located 47 miles from York (a teeny bit over an hour), there are a variety of lodges available with sunken hot tubs. Some are pet-friendly and come with a sauna too.

6 - Rocklands Lodges - book here

Rocklands Lodges are set in the beautiful village of Pickering. Offering 4* facilities, there are a variety of lodges sleeping 2-4. Dogs are welcome in some lodges too. Flamingoland is just up the road and York is 30 miles away.

7 - Forest Holidays (Keldy) - book here

Keldy Forest offers cabins hidden away in the forest in a peaceful location yet with lots of activities on-site. Expect climbing, cycling, archery, kayaking plus the chance to relax too. There's also a children's play area and restaurant. Keldy is 31 miles from York.

8 - Kilnwick Percy Resort - book here

If you're looking for somewhere with lots of luxury touches, the Kilnwick Percy Resort is for you. There's an on-site spa and Glasshouse restaurant, relaxation area, adventure playground, golf course, games consoles and more. Lodges are furnished to a very high standard and there are a range of options available. York is just 15 miles away.

9 - Woodland Lakes Lodges - book here

These luxury lodges are set around 13 well-stocked fishing lakes in Thirsk. There's a playground on-site and pets are welcome in some lodges. These lodges are perfect for exploring the market town of Thirsk and York is just 23 miles away.

10 - Ashtree Lodge - book here

This detached log cabin sit's on its owner's farm. Sleeping up to 4, the lodge offers extensive grounds and access to a fishing pond. The property is well located for visiting Stamford Bridge and York is just 9 miles away.

11 - Yellow Top Country Park - book here

Yellow Top Country Park is home to 19 luxury lodges surrounding a fishing lake. Each lodge is furnished to a very high standard and York is just 18 miles away. Dogs are welcome and lodges can sleep from 2-10 people.

12 - The Old Piggery - book here

I want to stay here just because of the name! Sleeping up to 6 and on the grounds of the owner's smallholding, you'll find alpacas, geese, donkeys and ducks on-site. The cabin is close to the village of Haworth and 50 miles from York.

13 - Woodpecker Lodge - book here

Woodpecker Lodge is just outside of Pocklington and sleeps up to 5. The lodge is located on a quiet holiday park overlooking fields and is located just 15 miles from York.

14 - Pond Farm Woodlands - book here

With it's open-fire and gorgeous patio area, Xbox and BluRay player, Pond Farm is a popular choice with families. Sleeping up to 6, the village pub is just a short stroll away and pets are welcome too. York is 49 miles away but you're just 9 miles from Whitby.

15 - Kim's Cabin - book here

This modern lodge is perched on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. This lodge sleeps up to 4 and features open plan living, smart TV and patio doors leading to a decked area. The village of Burniston is just 1 mile away and York is 44 miles away.

16 - Paradise Lakeside Lodges - book here

Paradise Lakeside Lodges are super close to the city of York and are set around two well-stocked fishing lakes. There's an outdoor play area and lots of green space to enjoy. The lodges have scored a fab 9/10 score on reevoo too. Lodges sleep 4 or 6.

Bears Den sleeps 4 and has an absolutely stunning interior. Featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a hot tub and sauna, these lodges have been designed to a very high specification. Pets are welcome and there's a pub less than a mile away. York is less than 40 miles away.

Hollybrook is a small park in the Vale of York. Log cabins are cosy and each has their own private terrace. York is around 13 miles away.

Herrington Park is home to 8 family-friendly log cabins in a peaceful location yet just 7 miles from York. All log cabins come with two bathrooms, satellite TV, hot tubs, private grounds and a complimentary bottle of wine.
