Berwick is a fairly small site and it has a quieter feel to it but there is still loads going on and more than enough to keep you entertained.
I love that you can walk into town from this site in around 10 minutes - this is a huge selling point to me as it means we can leave the car and have a few beers with dinner. I also like that its one of the few holiday parks you can get to by train - Berwick Train Station is around a 10-minute walk from the park.
Berwick Haven is also right on the beach and offers direct access from site - what more could you want?
The staff at this site are so friendly too and really welcomed us on both occasions. They're full of information and the reception staff, in particular, were very helpful.
Haven Berwick - Location & Travel
Haven Bewick is located on a clifftop with direct access to a small sandy cove beach. Located within a short walk of the town in the Scottish borders, its an ideal location for exploring North Northumberland and the borders. You can easily visit Edinburgh in a day too.
Haven offers plenty of parking if you have a car. If you wish to travel by train, the site is a short 10 minute walk from the station (and its pretty easy). If you have luggage with you, there are taxis at the station or you can book Haven's recommended provider using the details below.
Berwick is a beautiful town with lots of restaurants, bridges over the River Tweed, independent shops and there's plenty to keep you occupied.

Haven Berwick - Things To Do On Site
I would highly recommend downloading the Haven app before your trip. From here you can easily see the activities on offer during your stay and pre-book activities too. It makes planning your holiday a breeze. Find out more about the facilities and activities at Haven Berwick here. There are lots of different activities available during a Haven break including campfire building, nature trails , rock pooling and more. Some are chargeable and others are FREE. Scroll through the next few photos to check out their prices or check the Haven app.
Bring plenty of change as the kids are going to want to play on the arcade games which are next to the swimming pool/bars/restaurants.
Heres an example of what's on during a typical Tuesday and some of the prices too. You can check the Haven app for up to date listings and you'll be provided with a paper guide on check-in.
As well as activities, there are play parks, bungee trampolines, sports courts , swimming pools, direct beach access, a nature trail, bowling alley and a small soft play.
Haven Berwick - Swimming Pool
Haven Berwick has two swimming pools - one inside with a water flume and an additional outdoor pool and splash pad which is open during warmer weather.Admission to the pool is included with your stay but sessions can fill up so get there early.
Children under 8 and non-swimmers need to be supervised in the pool.
Haven Berwick - Evening Entertainment
There is a main showbar where the evening entertainment begins at around 6pm. We visited during peak season and never had any trouble finding a seat. Drinks prices were pretty reasonable - a half of coke was £1.50 and 4 bottles of bud were £12 but this was 2019 prices.
There's a variety of entertainment on offer from BINGO to character shows, party dances, and live music. You will be given a guide to what's on when you check in. Check prices and book online here.
Haven Berwick - Beach Access
One of the biggest selling points of Haven Berwick is that there's direct and easy beach access. There are a few steps so maybe leave the pushchair at home. The beach is lovely and sheltered and you may spot some of the 600 swans who live here.
There's a play park by the beach and an ice cream van too.
Haven Berwick - Food Options
Many people choose to eat in their caravan but if you do wish to eat out, there's a pub on-site plus a fish and chip restaurant / takeaway. The quality isn't the best but the prices are reasonable. Kids meals are £3.99 including a drink which considering you are staying on a holiday park, is an excellent price.
Here are the pub menus from 2019:
There are much more options in town - I highly recommend checking out Lock Stock n Burgers for their burgers, pizzas and Sunday roasts.

Haven Berwick - Accommodation Options
We have stayed in both a standard and a prestige model. Personally, I think the age of caravan is more important than the level of luxury - I would recommend booking a new model caravan at whatever level you can afford. Some models accept dogs and there are accessible models too. You can check out the full range of caravans available at Haven Bewick here.

We love Haven Berwick, I have visited so many times over the years when my biggest was small and we have taken the little two a couple of years ago. We love walking into Berwick to explore and spending time on the site too - the kids love the evening entertainment and getting up on stage for photos with Bradley,Greedy, Anxious and co. What beach did you use for easy access? we visited the one on the site and it was lethal with the kids, we must have waked down about 100 really steep stone steps xx
