Although this isn't a Christmas show as such, I love that Disney On Ice will be visiting Newcastle in December this year. It really is such a magical experience and a wonderful opportunity to take some time out and create family memories together.
It is always so lovely to see little ones dressed up and the atmosphere is incredible. I expect it will be even more so this year as Disney On Ice was a real miss last year.
I am often asked for advice on the best ages to enjoy Disney On Ice. I personally have taken my children since they were around 4 years old. You know your own children though and whether they are likely to sit through a performance. In previous years, plenty of younger children have been captivated by the show and if your toddler loves Disney, I would say go for it. Disney On Ice is usually pretty fast-moving with plenty of opportunities to sing along, wave your magic wands and dance in your seat.
I really don't think there is any upper age limit - Disney is timeless and I often bring the grandparents along and make it a real family occasion. I am always left feeling super impressed at just how creative the productions are and how skilled the skaters are.

I am so excited! This Disney On Ice production will be visiting Newcastle around my birthday this year and I cannot wait to escape and enjoy some much-needed Disney magic with family and friends.
