Bounce Extreme

We headed to Bounce Extreme at Kingston Park on Sunday - their next event is being held in the grounds of Hardwick Hall in county Durham this weekend 30-31st July (book tickets here).

Bounce Extreme is an established North East company (part of the Dunes Event Group) providing events and services for the likes of Newcastle United, SAFC, NHS, Aldi and the Ministry of Defence.

The kids had a brilliant time and it was great because everything is included so there's no having to give the kids more money to go on rides like at the fairground or amusements. I would definitely recommend.

  • 2 hours of unlimited play
  • £13 online or £15 on the door
  • Adults go free
  • Free parking
  • Total wipeout style inflatables
  • Bouncy castles, obstacle courses and slides
  • Food and coffee trucks
  • Toilets (check Hardwick Hall situation)
  • Bring a picnic blanket/camp chairs to sit on
  • You can bring your own food/drinks

We arrived at the 10am session at about 10.05am and there was no queue, we were asked for our booking name and the staff told us where the toilets were and gave us other key information.

The kids got a wristband each which are colour coded depending on the session you're on. The kids were then allowed to run wild in the enclosed field and go on as many bouncy things as they liked!

Age limits for Bounce Extreme

It's advised for age 5-12 (younger ones are allowed on if supervised, some things wont be suitable for them but there are a few small inflatables for under 5s).

Our 4 year old went on everything but it depends on your child.

What is included at Bounce Extreme?

Imagine a field full of every type of giant inflatable imaginable - basically kid heaven! There is a decent range of activities which stops things from getting repetative / boring.

  • Inflatable obstacle courses - one shaped like a caterpillar and a massive one which was great for races

  • Big and small slides - climb the ladder and slide or jump down (if you're brave enough!)

  • Total wipeout style rotating beams that knock you off your perch if you're not careful

  • An inflatable wrecking ball - you stand on platforms and swing the ball at eachother to see who will stay standing

  • Gladiator duel - where two people stand on platforms with giant cotton buds and try knock eachother off their perch

  • Sumo suits - superhero style, which you can use to wrestle in

  • Bungee races - a ball pit in the middle of a big circle with bungees that you can attach around your tummy and try to get as many balls as you can and put them in the bag on the wall

Our experience of Bounce Extreme

There was plenty to keep the kids entertained for 2 hours and very minimal queues. It was a nice day so it was great to be outdoors and lovely that you could bring a picnic and sit down when needed.

I had a good go on lots of the inflatables as I'm a big kid and it was really fun having races with the kids and messing about on bouncy pirate ships!

The indoor toilets were very handy and the staff were all very helpful, there was plenty of supervision which was great.

The best bit was that you don't have to pay out for multiple rides like you do at a fairground or amusements as everything is included.

When is the next Bounce Extreme?

The next Bounce Extreme is at Hardwick Hall this weekend 30-31 July. Tickets are still available online or you can pay on the door. Find out more and book here.

They have plans to move to an indoor event for winter so keep an eye on their socials for more info, we had a great time and will certainly be checking it out this winter!

It's a brilliant activity for meeting up with friends or to visit with a single child as they soon make friends with the other kids there.

You can follow Bounce Extreme on Facebook here and Instagram here.

Afterwards, I highly recommend visiting Hardwick Park which is just behind Hardwick Hall Hotel.

There is a small playground, ducks/geese to feed, accessible walk (suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs) plus if you download the Love Exploring App (it's free) you can go on a virtual dinosaur hunt too. Read our guide to visiting Hardwick Park here.
